Seasonal Ceremonies
Fall Equinox
Fall, in the northern hemisphere, is a mirror of spring, and is the time of bounty that the spring promised. Like spring, it is the midpoint, when the day and night are equal. People around the world celebrate the harvest of summer's bounty and store it for use during the winter days ahead. It is a time of thanksgiving for this bounty, of pausing to reflect to be aware of the miracle of the seasons, and of the beauty of natures colors brought by the cooling days.
