Ceremonies
Ceremony reminds us that we occupy the current 'point' in time and space for which all that has gone before created for us and that we are the current vessels. We return to acknowledging we are Eternal Beings responsible for holding the holy within our own lives and through us, passed on to future generations. As the Hopi say, "We have held the Center and so we endure."

The Gay Men's Medicine Circle usually meets in private to perform our shamanic activities, however, we hold public activities at regular intervals. Spring and Autumn equinoxes are held as close to the first day of spring and fall as feasible while the Winter and Summer solstices are held at the beginning of each of those seasons. Our change of season ceremonies are often held in public places, such as West Hollywood Park. We sometimes collaborate with other community groups such as our beach bonfire celebrated on December 22nd, 2007 with the California Men's Gathering.

We have initiated a public drumming circle at 10 AM on the last Sunday of each month. It is held at our meeting location in West Hollywood. All gay men are welcome to join us in making a joyful noise.
