Membership
The Gay Men's Medicine Circle is a membership organization which one is invited to be initiated into. The first step in being considered for membership in the Circle is successful completion of the Circle's workshop entitled "Through the Threshhold: An Introduction to Gay Shamanism", which is offered two or three times each year.
If an individual has had training and experience in journeywork and has a shamanic understanding, initiation into the Circle may occur on a case-by-case basis in lieu of completing the introductory workshop.
